Sukhoi Superjet 100 Crashes After Crashing Into a Cliff on Mount Salak, 45 People Die

On May 9, 2012, the Sukhoi Superjet (SSJ) 100 aircraft crashed after crashing into a cliff on Mount Salak. The flight crew and passengers, totaling 45 people, all died in this accident. Not only that, the plane was also found in a destroyed condition.
According to an investigation conducted by the National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) on December 18, 2012, the accident was caused by pilot negligence, and the condition of the SSJ 100 aircraft was in good condition without any system disturbances.
